Body Language
What do they really think?
How to tell if your friends are lying when they say they love your new haircut.
Arms crossed across the chest
Means: I am so not comfortable in this situation.
Lack of eye contact
Means: I totally disagree.
Touching the ear or scratching the chin
Means: I don’t believe a word you’re saying.
Head tilted to one side
Means: You’re boring me to death.
Mirroring your body language
Means: I totally get you. I want us to bond.
Leg crossed with ankle resting on knee
Means: I am not trustworthy.
Open palms
Means: I trust you 100 per cent.
Steepled fingers
Means: I’m in control here.
Playing with hair
Means: I’m insecure.
Speaking with hand in front of mouth
Means: I’m lying through my teeth. Or I know something I don’t want to tell you.
Hands, feet, body facing or pointing towards you
Means: I have a crush on you.
Blinking a lot
Means: Wanna come home with me?
Raising eyebrows
Means: I think you’re hot.
Dilated pupils
Means: I want to take you home.
