Ask a Guy

Should I get a Brazilian?

Should I get a Brazilian?

Q: What's your preference: a full Brazilian wax, a landing strip, or completely natural?

A: Natural, with grooming to keep things nice and triangular in shape. - Mike, married, 32

A: This depends on the day of the week and shouldn’t be the same all the time anyway, although the 'fro went out in the 70s. Mix it up, meet him at the door with a new ‘do and only wearing a trenchcoat! - Joseph, single, 35

A: For sure you are going to have as many answers as guys you ask. My personal fave is a landing strip, but I don’t think there’s a rule here. - Josh, in a relationship, 29

A: I’m a Brazilian wax kind of guy. I appreciate the effort most definitely. - Richard, in a relationship, 25

A: I love it when a woman gets a Brazilian, especially if she’s from Brazil. Hair down there is a scare so use Nair. - Jose, divorced, 35

A: A Brazilian wax brings out fantasies that a lot of mature men would not want to talk about because they may be looked upon as sick perverts. So, yeah, get the full Brazilian wax. - Matt, in a relationship, 28

Comments:

I have read all the comments from the guys, but know one has mentioned of the extreme pain a women has to go through during the brazilian waxing process. Hey, I'm all for personal hygiene and there are many ways a women could take care of beautiful private garden without clearing the whole enter forest.

Brazilian is the way to go. My man loves it and so do I. I try to let it grow in for a change but can't get into it. It is a bit uncomfortable but soooo worth it. FYI get your bum(hole)waxed. I was surprised when I was asked to. It did not hurt at all. And it feels so nice with no hair there. And honestly for no other reason other than it just feels like are more clean.

I shaved down there a few times, and ended up with ingrown hairs (ouch!). What are the chances of that happening again, after a wax?

Regarding ingrown hairs...just make sure to exfloliate.

Monday, 21 May 2007 21:06 PM EST

The landing-strip is what I get done, but with a little screw-up from the lady who waxes me I ended up being bare. My boyfriend prefers it without the landing-strip and even offered to pay half of my waxing costs to get me to do it.

As a comment to Sharon's comment. Everyone has different pain tolerances. I find the pain very minimum so not everyone finds it extremely painful. Although it is nice that the guy would acknowledge the effort that goes into it.

i used to get brazillians all the time when i started dating my bf cause i thought hed like it. it was extremely painful, but i mean, you live. throughout our relationship, we saw some 70s porn bush as i got more comfortable and sometimes didnt feel like the effort. but all in all, hes told me he prefers a landing strip to nothing at all or just being neatly trimmed at least. he hates stubble and even when your completely smooth, he finds the rubbing uncomfortable. think: going down a metal slide in elemetary school with shorts on.

I have read all the comments and stuff, and I want to try getting the Brazillian done, my BF says he would like it with nothing, and Ive tried nair, but it didnt work all that great. Any advice for a first timer. Is it weird having someone wax down there?

Jamie
Thursday, 24 May 2007 12:24 PM EST

Hmm....Jamie, maybe you could try going in increments to work up to it? Each time you go, have them go just a little bit further so it's not a huge shock. And if you end up finding you're happy with a certain degree of waxing, there's no saying you ever have to go all the way.

And as for being a first-timer, calling ahead to a spa or hair-removal place and talking with their staff gives you time to anonymously ask all your questions before you go. You can talk to them about your concerns, comfort level and what pain factors are involved (ouch!). My only advice is that if a place doesn't have the time to walk you through it, they'll likely treat you the same way when you're being waxed, so wait until you're comfortable with a place first. Good luck!

How long are you actually supposed to let it grow? ___ is that too short you think, I know they said 1/4 inch but really how long and does it matter if the hair is course?

Am I the only one who's a bit creeped out by a full Brazilian? I tried it once but I felt like pre-pubescent. I prefer a neatly trimmed patch.

Why is our pubic hair "unwanted"? It is there for a reason. I find it unreasonable to expect a woman to endure hot wax, razors or creams to remove something that is so beautiful, especially for some guy. But, of course, to each her own.

I get brazilians done on a regular basis. The more often you go (I go about every 4-6 weeks) the less it will hurt. The longer you let your hair grow in, the stronger the roots get, and therefore the more painful it becomes.

I like being bare as it feels a lot cleaner. I know my guy appreciates the effort too.

If you are willing to travel north of Downsview subway, there is Ethetics by Tracy. 416.222.7604. It may be out of the way, but she is great, and about half the price of downtown. As a regular, she even keeps my own pot of wax reserved for only my visits. Don't go the week before or during your period. The pain will be intollerable. The other weeks, the more you go, the less it hurts.

I get a what is called a French bikini wax, it's like a brazilian but they leave a little up top. It's the best way to go. I used to be to chicken because I thought it would be too painful, but after years of painful ingrowns from shaving and burns from depilitories, I took the plunge and will never go back. To all those who have never done it, here are a few tips I use:

-stop shaving for at least a week (during your period is perfect) beforehand

-get some of those exfoliation gloves and exfoliate everyday a week before to help any ingrowns you might have.

-try not to go just before your period, it will be a little more painful, it's better to after.

-don't use powders or lotions before you go,(in that area at least)just shower and pat dry.

-if you have a low pain tolerance take 1 or 2 ibeprophens 30 minutes before.

-after the wax wear clean cotton panties (no thongs - to tight)and loose fitting pants.

-starting the day after the wax, exfoliate with the gloves and it will help when the hair does start to grow in.

-get it done at least 2 days before an event to aviod redness during those "special moments"

-and enjoy the time it saves you everyday :)

Yeah, i agree getting a brazillion wax is way better, and many guys prefer it more. They do like the effort you put in to make it good. Now a days if you do an at home waxing there are sprays that numb your skin abit before.

Hey all...
well i am an esthetician and i can answer jessicas question...yes your hair does have to be at least a quarter inch. if your hair is thicker it could be harder for the hair to come out, so have it maybe just a little longer.

This door swings both way kids - I think 'regional maintenance' is mandatory - for men and women. Boys should keep it trimmed and if they 'demand' a brazilian, I say 'you first'.
If you haven't tried it - boys and girls - it does feel lovely though.

I don't know about you guys but i think that having hair is just part of being an adult. Girls don't have hair, women do. If a guy wants you to get a Brazilian my opinion is that he can go find some 12-year-old twat because women come with hair.

I think its a very personal decision. I like the look myself but it's all about how you feel. If you shave the rest why not the best

Bruce
Wednesday, 30 May 2007 12:14 PM EST

It is a personal decision, yes, but do not change your PERSONAL preference according to who you date. I have been asked by many men to shave/wax or in some way remove pubic hair and I never will. I enjoy my public hair- it is beautiful! Out with the man who doesn't like me the way I am. After all, sex is just as much about me. I ask any man who demands the brazilian of a woman to WAX (not shave), WAX his balls. That will shut him up ;)

Sarah
Wednesday, 30 May 2007 14:37 PM EST

Perhaps the boys should explain WHY they want a brazilian. Maybe if it involves something pleasurable for the girl, she'll be more likely to do it. My boyfiend only syggested shaving there, and i didn't regret it when i did (star treatment in the bedroom!), and now it's my idea to "upgrade" to a wax. I'm just not sure where to get such a private and sensitive thing done.

i am really shocked guys! I have been a diehard waxer for the past 7 years but I still haven't had a brazillian..i had a bf who told me he wanted me to do it, so i shaved.. well he ended up sexually harassing me. just think about it first:

- why do you think hair is there? a christmas ornament?? you are WAY more likely to get infections with nothing to protect you

- do you think you're going to catch a man by waxing your hair off? sounds a little desperate to me..

- who wants to look like a little 11 year old girl?

i prefer a neat, trimmed, WOMANLY look.

Shocker
Wednesday, 30 May 2007 21:34 PM EST

I have gotten a brazillian many times, and there are times i just let it grow in, but to be quite honest, its just much more comfortable to have it nice and smooth. i would never do it for a man, the first time i got it done was because i hated the idea of worrying about shaving when i was going on vacation, but i hate being hairy even more. why are so many ppl doing it for sumone else? if u do it, do it because its your preference, not because some one asked you to.

and i think its just the opposite of what shocker said, i think you can keep the area cleaner when its hairless, bacteria is less likely to stay there. i think some women take it as a bad thing to get a brazillian done, but i love it, i love feeling soft and smooth and its much more comfortable, i get less ingrown hairs when i wax.

Woman shave and wax their legs, so what is so bad about a brazillian? To those who say our pubic hair is there for a reason, so is leg hair and not many woman like to let their legs grow out "naturally."

Friday, 01 June 2007 01:11 AM EST

Why not try it? If you like it you can keep doing it, if you don't like it, it will grow back? I have known three ladies that have shaved it off, and to the best of my knowledge they still do, they all clamed to like "the feel of being cleaner" there words not mine. As far as me liking it or not, as long as its trimmed short or clean shaved I love it, long uncontrolled is not for me. There isn’t a bigger turn off then going down on a lady and choking on a bunch of long hair.

You should not try and do it yourself at home, leave it to the pro's.. especially brazilizians. There are certain tendons and area's you can not wax over with out bruising and its definatly not pretty when you bruise, which can also happen if you arent holding the skin tight enough, which is hard with one hand..

I get the Brazilian and Thong. (Use your imagination for that one) I find that I feel a lot cooler (temperature wise) and cleaner when there's nothing there. I also feel a lot sexier. I used to shave but shaving becomes such a pain in the ass and you can never get everything. Plus the lady I go to is amazing. She's been doing it like 20 something years. My suggestion: If you're going to get it done, see if they place uses cream based wax. It's really good for sensitive skin.

Saturday, 16 June 2007 16:25 PM EST

I've been specializing in brazilian waxing for the past few years and many women have it done because it gives a clean, close wax and the freedom to wear the most revealing swimwear and lingerie. They also feel free, clean and sensuous.

Some come pregnant, so as to feel more dignified when facing the ob-gyn. Others come to surprise boyfriends and husbands: birthdays, holidays, anniversaries.

Some of you have raised the question...'isn’t hair in the pubic area there for a reason?' Doctors say that though humans once needed protection against the elements, there’s no real clinical need for pubic hair in this day and age – clothing provides ample protection and warmth. Some even claim it’s more hygienic to have the hair removed so it doesn’t absorb sweat.

Any questions? info@befabulous.ca

Definitely a Brazillian fan, but realize it's not for everyone. As for the pain, it's all about NUMBING CREAM. (It's called Emla.) It's what they use for babies who are cirC***cised and you can get it over the counter cheap. Put it on an hour or two before and wow does it work. You still feel it a little, but way more bearable and makes you want to keep it up. (Everytime you go it gets better because less hair grows back each time and it's thinner, so waxes easier. Shaving in between sessions will make it hurt like the first time.)

I am man who has always fought for woman's rights. This includes equality, equal pay for equal work and equal work around the house.

I am thankful that most women shave. This goes against everything I believe in. I must say, that I enjoy a woman who sports a full Brazilian.

Does this make me a male chauvenist?

Just try it once - you will never go back. Yes, it is, at first embarrassing to have a stranger down there but it is way better than doing it yourself. I do it for myself because it does feel cleaner and sexier. Take 2 ibuprofin half and hour before and have a sense of humor!!! Which is important in everything you do anyway. You will feel great the next day and hey, what is a little pain for feeling sexy?!

Love It
Saturday, 14 July 2007 16:28 PM EST

So the first time or two, it is a little frightening, I'll admit, but after that it's actually not that bad. Team up with a girlfriend, get appointments back to back and go out for a double margherita before-hand.

As for guys/boyfriends constantly requesting it. Listen, we can only get it done every 6 weeks, which means, yes it needs to grow out, in order to have it done again.
And next time you think about whining for your girl to get it done, don't. Unless you're willing to get hair ripped out of your genitals, then lay off us already.

Im in my teens, do you think it would be a good idea for me to get a brazillian? I'm not doing it because I'm sexually active, but because I like the feeling of being clean, I usually shave but its a pain in the ass and I always miss spots. Im also worried of ingrown hairs, do you get alot of them?

Or are there anything other then a brazillian that still feels clean. Someone said something about a mexican...wtf? Where does it leave the hair?

I know that brazilians make us women look like we have the twat of a 12 year old...but there's something hot and sexy about a guy doing his thing when the hair is not there. I find that the pleasure is much higher, at least for me. I feel that I can be much more of myself in the bedroom than I ever was before. It's a definate GO, but it is definatly nice to change things up once in a while.

it shoudnt matter what it might be brazzilian or the strip. the woman should decide what to do, after all shes the one who has to feel the pain of waxing.

Jasmine
Wednesday, 22 August 2007 15:38 PM EST

I have a philosophy on this sort of thing. If your significant other has a preference for how you keep your pubic hair and you don't care either way, then...if he wants you to trim, he should trim. If he wants you to shave, he should shave. And if he wants you to wax, he's getting a wax too.

In the end, you should be doing what you want to do and if he doesn't like it, he's very much *not* worth it.

Ladies, personally I feel great with a brazillian wax. Not only is it a self-esteem booster but it makes me feel good when I get out of the shower!

10 minutes of pain down there can go a long way. It's easy to maintain and MUCH BETTER than shaving.

Going the extra mile is worth it. Beauty is pain my friends and the men love it.

Lora

I used to get Brazilians but jeez - the pain! And - the bleeding was no fun. She (the esthician) got so close to ripping a labia that the skin tore and I bled for two days. So the esthician offers a freebie next time and I'm thinking that's not worth it. Don't go cold turkey. work up to it. As someone suggested earlier, have a little more done each time. Soon, you will get closer and closer to what you want. Not what the guy wants, what you want.

PS

Hey, i have been doing the brazilian wax for a few months now, i love it and so does my man :)
I have been doing it myself, i use Nads wax kit, it works really well, I don't find the pain too bad, after you do it a few times you barely feel any pain but i guess everyones pain threshold is different.

I have noticed in reading the comments that it is being made to sound as though it's the men who want their woman shaved, with a landing strip or at the very least trimmed short and neat and although some women do it because they want to, a lot are asked to or do it for their man. Someone even said that if a guy wants a woman to do that, tell them to do it to themselves first. I just wanted to say that a lot of guys 'maintain' the area. They keep their b*lls shaved smooth and at the very least, trim their pubes short and neat but in a lot of cases buzz them in patches and various other 'styles'. Some even shave them off completely. It is, in my experience (locker rooms, etc) actually 'uncommon' to see a man (I am talking about guys in their 20's, 30's, 40's etc, not men in their 60's, 70, 80's etc) who have an unkempt 'au naturel' pubic bush and hair on their b*lls and growing partially down the shaft. Most guys keep it 'manicured' not only for personal appearance but also for the woman or women in their life. They look better (and maybe bigger) and feel cleaner and also don't want the woman to be eating hair when they go down on them just as they don't want to be. For those women out their who's man wants them to do it in any way, from a trim to totally shaved, if you are thinking of doing it for them, you tell them you will if they will too....as little or as much as they want you to take off, they have to do the same, especially if they are in their natural state and want you to trim or shave. If they won't do it then you shouldn't either unless you are doing it for yourself. I think you will find, if the man in your life hasn't already done maintenance down there, he will do it for you if he wants you to do yours for him.

Instead of waxing I opted for laser hair removal (brazilian tyle with a landing strip)It's more expensive but well worth the permanence. I had never waxed only shaved before. The laser does cause some pain but it is tolerable.

I did waxing myself for a bit, uhm, make sure u read up on that b4 you try it lol. I found out you're not supposed to wax the same area twice >.< You get big bruises!

I went for laser hair removal and now I don't worry about waxing anymore! My hubby loves how smooth I am all the time and its a real time saver!

I've considered getting a wax before but I honestly think that when there's no hair, I look like a child. I prefer looking like a woman, and my boyfriend does too! I hear all the time girls getting waxes for their boyfriends or husbands, which is nice. But if he'll only please you without hair, he's not in it for the long haul.

The biological purpose for hair down there is so that it blocks the bacteria from going where it shouldn't. The bacteria doesn't stay in the hair as you shower on a daily basis....

ok,, im a newbie to this whole shaving thing, i usually just kepp it trimmed and neat,
my boyfriend and i have both agreed to GET SHORT!
and im not really sure how to go about that, , i would do it by myself, but i dont think it would be as good as i want it to be, and im not sure i want the whole invasiveness of some other person in there waxing, lol,
im usually a conservative person , and dont feel confortable with a spa,

what im getting to is,
is there a fool proof way to do it my self??

I'm surprised how many people buy in to the lucrative ideology that you need to shave/ wax to "be clean" or "feel clean", "be feminine" or whatever.. First hair removal marketers said body/pubic hair is "masculine".. now it's hair is "dirty" so both men AND women buy their stuff (very clever btw). Don't be a slave to the razor (or waxer) lol...

haha I remember one time my bf asked if I liked him hairless or not.. I really couldn't care so I said it was up to him.
I've been thinking about getting a brazilian LAZER treatment. it gets rid of the hair forever... I hate the hair down there, but my friends are trying to talk me out of it.. "What if your husband likes bush?"
I think it's my choice though, would a man really choose not to marry me because I didn't have a beard in my pants? I doubt it.

also, about the "perverted people, 12 year old" thing..
So are you going to stop shaving your arpmits and legs?.. 12y/o don't have hair there either.
I can't see someone calling a man perverted for wanting a woman to shave those areas.

It's funny how this issue turns into a battle of the sexes. "Don't do it just because a man likes it." Or, "tell him, 'You first!' That'll shut him up." Then of course, there's the suS***ion, maybe even contempt for male sexuality, "Perv!" First, people in a serious relationship tend to do lots of stuff because the other likes it. Love is weird that way. Second, males are visual, so their preferences are sometimes about a partner's appearance. Their partners, it turns out, like to look lovely, so it works out. Lastly, suS***ion and contempt for the opposite sex as a whole is stereotyping. If an individual guy is a perv, charge him for the crime and get him thrown in jail. Otherwise, stop slapping our hands just cuz we're guys.

The thing I don't like about going bare is when I use the bathroom, I have to wipe my whole butt. Now I know what the hair is for. lol. It makes the urine head straight into the bowl as oppose to all over my butt.

ok too much information? lol

Just my experience but otherwise, smooth is nicer.

I recently tried shaving for the first time and was surprised by the increase in sensitivity to sensation--the rub of my underwear, the feeling of being touched. Its definitely something I plan on doing again, I'm just not sure I want to do the whole waxing thing--though I find the advice of some of you to be very interesting on how to minimize pain. As for people's suggestion that a man who enjoys bare is a pedophile or a pervert, they are with women who have women's bodies--breasts, hips, matured limbs--not little children and I think its very ignorant of you to condemn someone for their personal preference. Someone could very well say that you secretly want to have sex with animals if you prefer bush. Its not fair to judge either way.

I did my own brazilian wax recently (my first one), but I didn't use any kits. Just home made sugaring and cloth strips. It took a while though, because there were times that I was just too scared to pull the strip. I was afraid I would rip the skin. But overall it went fine and I didn't hurt myself. I just love the feel of that soft, smooth clean skin!

i personally don't like the whole brazilian thing. ive tried it for my bf's birthday, he likes it, but i really don't like my vaj looking like im 10. i also don't like the whole bush thing. i think that maintenance is required, so i do the landing strip, and keep it short and groomed.

like honestly, why would i want to seem like im 10? i know you have the women's body, but still...it's kind of a gross fantasy...

As a normal, well-adjusted man I can say that I find the Brazilian wax too extreme. Moreover, I would caution any woman to beware of a man who pressures you into it. Why? Because it makes you look like a prepubescent girl. The man asking you to wax completely is probably harboring some sick sexual fantasies involving statutory rape of a twelve year old girl.

Personally, I love a woman's pubic hair. I love the fact that my wife keeps herself neatly trimmed. I find it very erotic. I want to make love to a woman, not a child.

Just my two cents, though...

Almost every young teen that you see shaves. I know i do and all of my friends. I havnt met anyone whos natural and under the age of 18.
its the new style i guess lol.

But what really helps to stop the pain is shave while your under the shower water.

i dont know why but you seriously dont feel anything, just no hair afterwards.

I feel dirty if i have hair there, i cant stand it and feel discusting if even a little more than a P***le starts.

I have been shaving all my pubic hair for years but got fed up with the red bumps and stubbly bits that always seem to get missed..... So have now started DIY waxing. I don't find the pain that great although waxing your balls needs care and keeping the skin really tight. The effect is awsome. Feels great and it is definitely easier each time. Regrowth is thinner too and soft, not rough stubble. Not easy waxing yourself, so I would recommend a salon. Did I mention that I definitely prefer girls who have no hair down there.

I shave it all off. Tried to go for the Brazilian but made a mess so ended up with a Hollywood and never looked back since! Also tried wax strips but didn't work. Too embarrassed to go to salon. A lot of pple think it's child like but I like it bare and smooth. What is the point in pubic hair anyway? I shave legs, underarms and bikini area every day.

Ok, so I'm a professional aesthetician and I've seen a lot of questions, and a lot of answers... some good and some a little naive.
Brazilian waxes are definitely a personal decision. Its simply personal preference. I would NEVER recommend that someone try doing this procedure at home. I have seen too many injuries from people trying this. Believe me bruising is only the beginning... when you have to go in for stitches because you tore your skin open you will know what I mean. Those types of injuries will often leave scars and will make any kind of intimacy painful for quite some time. Having said that... RESEARCH your aesthetician. How long has she been doing it? Does she do it often? How much does she charge? Chances are, if she charges $20, you really wanna go someplace else. If you've had a bad experience (broken hairs, or missed spots) find someone else. Its not the wax its the waxer.
Removing hair down there DOES NOT increase risk of infection. In fact it is easier to keep clean but does not imply that a well kept regular bikini is unhygienic. Either is fine from a hygiene standpoint.
If you do decide to wax it all, keep it exfoliated as this will help to prevent ingrown hairs.
A landing strip is when a strip of hair is left above the clitoris. Sometimes women will have them waxed in different designs but the most poP***r is a strait strip averaging 1/2" -2"long. Some women will even dye that area. For example, during Valentine's of for their wedding they may get the "strip" done in a heart and dye it red or pink.
Shaving the area or using Nair can result in some nasty rashes, bumps, and burns so be cautious. But if this work s for you that great.
From experience, most of my clients husbands or BFs (and also speaking from experience as my husband and I both prefer a Brazilian) prefer bare skin for several reasons. 1.Its a fantasy (for some reason many men find it to be a sign of sexual aggressiveness in the bedroom).
2.Being easier to clean and keep fresh many men find it more appealing to give oral pleasure to a woman who is hair free. (Some men even find the urge to run their tongues along that smooth area almost irresistible.)
3.Foreplay and petting is, for some, more pleasurable without the hair. And, for many men, anything that enhances their ability to make your toes curl is a total turn on for them.
4.Many men simply like the feeling of bare skin during intercourse and foreplay.
and the list goes on.....
However, the #1 reason I have found is that oral pleasure is a large part of most couples intimate lives. And many men simply find it easier to prolong that part of the bedroom experince with a bare canvas to work on. Remember, it he can make you arch your back in pleasure, he feels empowered and a success in the bedroom. And this empowerment enhances his own sexual experience.
I hope this helps.... remember that this is a personal choice and I don't believe that anyone has the right to tell anyone else that either is better, wrong, stupid, or anything else.

I had a Brazillian and the pain was
not bad at all. The pleasure received
from my husband afterwards was worth
it all. It is soft, clean, and so
nice to have my man go down on me and
he is so turned on. I said all women
should try it once.

If you wear a swimsuit whether young
or old, one needs a bikini wax.
However, I think the Brazillian is
great with the strip trimmed and neat.
All women young might be surprised to
know that at age 60 I had my first
Brazillian and later decided it looks
best with the strip. My man just loves
it and even trimmed his hair for me.
It is so smooth and you feel sexy.

Hey everybody just thought I would let everybody on here know, BRAZILIANS are AMAZING!!! I love the fact that I don't have to worry, it's soft, no bumps and itchyness when the hair grows in. So A few weeks ago I do the normal once a month wax the legs, and the BRAZILIAN.. a girlfriend of mine we do it to eachother and we have been waxing eachother for about 3 years. We were down to my last strip for my BRAZILIAN.. I guess she just got a little two close to my lip area the crease in between the lips on the left side I believe it's called the Labia or something wripped it and yeah I was gushing blood for ever everywhere!!!!!! She wripped it I had a very big hole.. was in Emergency for 4 Hours not to mention the fact that I needed 10 STITCHES down their. A huge needle down their as well to freeze the pain and I still felt the stitches going through near the end 4 stitches or so I felt.. but yes 10 STITCHES very uncomfortable. So be careful it's a very sensitive area and wrips just like that, like I didn't feel no pain nothing when that happened. Now I am so scared to wax down their again.. But I kind of have to I was doing a good job of keeping it up and tolerating the pain because it's well worth it. Because I never want to go through what I went through that day ever again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So yeah.. BECAREFUL PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!

Everyone has their own comfort level, and that's what's right for each person. Who cares what a guy wants, it's about what a woman feels comfortable with.

Personally, I'm getting lasered, brazilian style. Yes, that is correct. LASER, down there. And I think it's absolutely worth it.

OMG! Women, if you're with a guy who wants you shaved bald, he probably likes little girls or something sick like that! GROSS!

A real woman has a cute furry bush. I want to go downtown, and come up with a few hair in between my teeth!

Women, why does your guy want you to be bald, like a 5 or 10 year old girl? That's just SICK!

Landing strips are okay, if a woman wants to have certain "control" over the area, because she wears a bikini or something. Otherwise, as long as your crotch isn't confused with a tarantula, let it grow, let it grow, let it grow!

I have tried everything and every type of hair removal method. I personally like the brasilian style and find it difficult to shave because of razor burn and ingrown hairs. I dislike waxing because you still have the time it takes to grow the hair out long enough to wax (not so sexy ladies!). So recently I signed up for 6 weeks laser hair removal. It may seem pricey but it is worth every penny. After my second session I am seeing a HUGE change and can`t wait for the final result. I will never have to worry about hair removal and pain again :)

I've been getting brazilians for about half a year now, and I couldn't do anything else!
It's definately worth the 15mins of pain for the month of not having to worry about shaving etc.

I just wrote a guide to brazilians on my blog.

my girlfriend has had a brazilian, since we met. i've always loved it. she's so smooth and clean, and, i never get any hair in my teeth!
one night, as we were in bed, talking, she suggested that if i liked her that way, i should be willing to try it myself. after a lot of urging, on her part, i finally agreed to give it a try. she said it was a good thing i agreed, because she'd already made an appointment for us, both, to be waxed, the following morning.
i was pretty nervous about it. pain and the embarrassment of the possibility of getting an erection were the reasons. when i saw the aesthetician i was more worried about an erection. she was really cute. but, we talked, the whole time, and, she put me at ease. i managed to get through the waxing without embarrassing myself. it was a few days before i could have sex with my girlfriend, but, when we did, it was fantastic. that was a year ago! now, we both go together, every six weeks, and, we both love it. i wouldn't even think about letting my pubic hair grow back.

I just had my first brazilian and did it myself! (was just doing a bikini wax but it hurt WAY less than expected so I just kept going)

I like the idea of just changing it around every now and again. Next I think I'll do a heart :)

Even if you like the feel of some hair down there I would get it taken off at least a few times because it grows back much softer and nicer/neater looking.

"A Brazilian wax brings out fantasies that a lot of mature men would not want to talk about because they may be looked upon as sick perverts. So, yeah, get the full Brazilian wax. - Matt, in a relationship, 28" So your fantasy is having sex with children then? Children do not have pubic hair. Children. So we can assume you are a pedophile.

I'm 27 and have been getting the Brazilian done for years. I'm hooked. I agree it's a personal preference, I just like getting it done so I can wear swimsuits and lingerie without having to worry about hair poking through just because I feel more comfortable that way. I'm single and I never do it for anyone else but myself and that's how it should be. So like one of the other posters said if you're going to wax, trim, or shave do it for yourself not some guy. As for it being creepy to get a Brazilian done because you feel like a little girl, if you're in your 20s like me you are a grown woman. I doubt when you're being intimate with someone they're thinking about being with a little girl. That's my honest opinion anyways. I'm in my late 20s and getting the Brazilian is fine, regardless of what it looks like down there, at the end of the day I know I'm still a grown woman.

'Hello every one, i just want to share a few testimony about how my marriage got saved by drmaculey1\x40gmail.com . I had a fight with my husband and he got mad at me and decided to bring in another woman, i know i did wrong and was scared of loosing him, when he brought in another woman to the house, i thought i have lost him already and that was when i had to use drmaculey1\x40gmail.com spell and i was amazed the way the spell turned the table around and made my husband start chasing me and want to be with me again. am so happy now that my husband is back to me and me alone........Eileen'
