What is an SMS message?
A: An SMS message is a text-based message sent or received on your mobile handset.
What is a shortcode?
A: A shortcode is a five or six-digit number used to address SMS messages. Our shortcodes are 787878, 363636 and 456225.
What is a keyword?
A: A keyword is used in the SMS message as an action identifier you send to a shortcode to tell us which service you would like to reach. Each mobile program will have its own keyword.
How much does it cost to send an SMS message to Canwest?
A: On 787878, SMS messages are $1 each.
On 456225 and 363636, standard text messaging rates apply. It costs you the same as it would to send a text message to a friend.
Who can see my mobile number?
A: Your mobile number is kept confidential. It will not be used by anyone without your permission.
